I went to Hiringmax because they kept sending me e-mails. They promissed to help me write my resume. They did not, they kept giving ideas, but really did not break down the process to write a resume.

They promissed to open the dialoge of communication. What they did was left a message and did not hear back from the contact. I could have done that.

They promissed to get my resume out in front of the hiring managers. They e-mailed and faxed my resume to the companies human resource departments. I could have done a lot better with Apple One who actually has a team that will get my resume out there.

Fred is a scam artist, he used my research and knoweldge to sell to others. He did not have list of key words that is used for resume scanners used by human resource departments, I gave him a list after doing the research.

I bought some books that helped me better then wasting my time, gas, and money on Hiringmax. Books on how to write a resume with examples and key words: Resumes that knock em dead. For difficult interview questions pick up the book: Interviews that knock em dead. These are both great references and cost a lot less then what Fred has to offer.

You can also search University web sites for additional information on how to write resumes, cover letters, follow up, interviews and such. Cal State Fullerton has a good web site: (((link redacted)))

Don't pay Fred a dime. He wont let you enter his class until you pay and wont give you a refund, I tried. He should be prosecuted for his Scam by the District Attorney's Office. Strange enough, shortly after this all occured with him, I had identity theft on my personal account. Was it related, I'm not sure, but experiencing how he treated me and the scam he is doing, I would not be surprised.

Stay away from his services, you can do better with a more ligitmate company and utilizing the sources listed herein.

Same thing happened to me too!!!

AUTHOR: Mike Rushmore - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 03, 2008

The same thing happened to me too. When I told him I would file a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) he wanted to settle with me. Once a complaint is filed it will cause his credit rating to slide. I would file a complaint with them. I'm going to try one last time to get my refund, if he does not, then I will file my complaint with the BBB.

Fred actually stole my info from Careerbuilder.com (which advertises scams/frauds/misleading job offers too and stated in an email to me from their fraud dept. that they never sent my info to HiringMax) and claimed they sent it to him then posted it without my approval/knowledge. Now I am receiving all kinds of scam/fraud type of emails and found out someone signed my info to a broker list for a home business with Cutting Edge Media Inc. that sells it to telemarketing type companies that call DNC listed numbers. As well as receive scam/fraud job offers still to this day after months ago Fred suppossedly took my info off of their site.

File a complaint with the LABBB too which might help , but reading/experiencing what kind of things go on with Fred it probably won't help you but at least it's a try and others can see people are complaining about them. I've been forwarding scam/fraud emails to Dept. of Justice,Dept of Consumer Affairs and other agencies with comments about when I started to receive emails and who I beleive is doing this BS , which started after I complained about how Fred got my info without CB or me giving it to HiringMax. His claims about his experiences and wanting to solve any of these complaints is just a show he's putting on, look at all the other comments/complaints on here and even the LABBB put a note on his company that has the same story. The truth comes out sooner or later and prevails always.
