I was desperate and not being myself. Our house got foreclosed on, as my son who is only 17 years old left for boot camp. His lifelong dream was to serve his country. I was a mess, from missing him too much, and wondering what could have happen to us, would I still be here when my son gets back from boot camp. I came across HIS Advocates-and wonder , These are Christian Organization and somehow I completely trusted them because one of their marketing guy was a former Marines guy, somehow I felt connected. They asked inititally for $7500, so they can help me fight my UD and Post foreclosure.
I was very interested but I really dont have the funds at that time. .so when they called and told them , that day, they immediately ended the call. The following day ws surprised, they called again and offered me $5000 fee,(less $2500 from their initial offer) in 2 split payments , $2500 now and $2500 next month,, sounds like a deal right? I grabbed it,, without really going thru the agreement in a fine tooth comb, knowing that I deal with contracts all day long as my profession. "Its trust" I transferred the $2500, but afterwards, Iwas going over their website , and there will be additional costs to talk to Kelby (main guy) and I need to add a program which will cost me $300/mo,, so I can draw my self defense , read court books , and somehow do a self help , to defend myself in court,, which is something I realized out of my comfort zone,, not to mention they already charged $5000 for the service.
The following day I decided Iwill not be able to go through it , No.1 - I dont have time to do it, I have other kids at home, No.2 - realized self help with a big price tag is not for me.
I bailed and try to ask nicely ,, to get my money back. (have not started on the program just yet) In fact I am willing for them to give me back $2000 and keep the $500 for whatever time he took to explain the process to me. I lost my money.. and would not know if this program would work or not, because I just lost interest, not because i lost $2500 , but somethng is telling me,, that this organization who take advantage of people will not suceeed. Please be careful out there, make sure this program is for you , because they dont offer refunds on your generous donation,, somehow they said it could be tax deductible.
