Hobkirk Enterprises Towing Christina McDonald pilfering personal property, and holding hostage for blackmail Tallahassee, Florida

I am a parent of a Florida State college student, so I dont have to explain how expensive that is and how hard it is too be available for your kids when they are taken advantage of.

My daughter is a student at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida and I rent an apartment for her at Osceola Ridge Apt., 1001 Ocala Road, Tallahassee, FL 32304.

In November of 2011 I get a call from my daughter that her cars was missing, when she goes to the management office to report it, she is informed that is was towed away because it did not have the right decal on her vehicle, even though the current decal on her vehicle was not expired and obtained from management in a timely manner.  Apparently, according to management, new decals where created, but no one informed my daughter until after the office was closed making it impossible for her to obtain.

When I tried explaining and reasoning on the phone to both the towing company and management, that when notice was given for the new decals, the office was closed and there was no possible way of getting a new decal for the vehicle, I was treated rudely, unprofessional and very unhelpful or understanding.

I ended up having to pay $120.00 to get my vehicle back and have my daughter obtain a new decal from the office hoping this would be the end of it.

The vehicle was towed away again in January of 2012, this time because she has not driven it in
a while, and it was parked backwards.

This time there was no communication about their intentions or actions. I called both companies
again in an effort to reason with them, only to get the same treatment.

The towing company is now putting a lien on my vehicle, and wants $220.25 to recover it or they will sale it.

The Management Company is getting kick-backs from the towing, and I am finding more and more complaints about both companies. This SCAM has to be shut-down, it targets college students
