Home Advisor Pro Total scam to the contractors! Golden Co.

I spoke with a rep. of this company several times before I made the committment to get involved. It sounded like such a great deal to be involved with an advertising company that runs background checks on the contractors. I wanted to be part of something that involved integrity.

The rep told me I would pay $287.99 for the membership which would give me a web sit and some other features. Then every time a lead turned into a job we would pay a fee. $11.50 for each resident and $22.50 for each commercial.

I paid $287.99 on the first and got 5 leads right away. NONE of which scheduled a job! Imagine my surprise when I seen that on June 6th. Home Advisor Pro took $39.75 out of my bank account again. I called them to find out why and they told me I was being charged for leads!

I told them that I wanted to cancel and I wanted my money back. I was advised by Mark that they do not refund money. He also advised me that by signing up I had given them the right to take money out of my accounbt at any time with no notice or statement!

Now I am feeling like I was scammed BIG TIME! They want me to pay a membership, pay leads and pay commission and they are going to take unknown amounts of money ouut of my bank account with no accounting and no warning!

Mark would not give me any one over him to speak with and would do nothing to assist me in getting my money back. Now I feel like I almost need to close my bank account to keep them from randomly stealing all my money. We are a small business with one employee, we can't afford to be hustled by big business!
