I too have been scammed by homeland housewares magic bullet's fat burning boost promo.  I saw free and thought that they were giving away a free sample to try.  Little did I know a few months later my bank account had been charged $67 without me being notified first.  I did not have the funds in my account so it cost me and extra $35.  I called customer service and I got the same generated answer to my problem that it said on the promotion that I would be added to an automatic Payment and shipment plan.  I tried to see if I could have the package returned and get a refund but received emails from their customer service telling me that there were no refunds.  I would like to see this broadcast in a greater way to educate people about their business dealings.  This is the oldest scam in the book.  I will not buy any product as a result of this that is an as seen on TV product.  They are all cheap and you never know what your signing up for.  I'm doubting that I'll ever see my money back from this so I have anounced to all my friends on Facebook not to buy this product and I suggest to everyone else to do the same who have faced this same issue.  I will continue to find more web site like this one to also broadcast my experience.

I am keeping the 2 month supply and have some packets left from the free box that was first sent to me.  I'm hoping to get my money back some day because I've noticed so many more reports from consumers that have been scammed from Homeland Housewares.  I will gladly give the rest of the free box of packets to anyone willing to do research and have the contents of this fat burning boost powder tested.  I suspect that the powder isn't even a fat burning substance.  If this can be determined then I believe this can come in handy in a settlement case for everyone who would like return of their funds and personal damages they may have experienced like me.  Not only a return of the cost of the product and shipping, but overdraft fees for those who were not aware that their back account was going to be charged before they could stop payment or at least put enough funds in to cover the costs.  The overdraft fee that I was charged was $35 so that would make my loss over $100.  Not to mention what it costed me because I was unable to make it to the bank to close my account before being charged extra fees for having a negative balance.
