Since may of last year I now realize that all they were was a bunch of hot air and actually took no steps whatsoever except to insult my intelligence over the phone by telling me such quotes as "we are actively working with bank of america, mr. jordan....and so on...they convinced me to forego making my regular mortgage payments from june through august of 2009...all they have done is helped to destroy my good credit and because of the 3 month default of payments "bac home loans servicing", a collection company directly associated with bank of america has been hounding me 3-4 times per week threatening me with jeopardizing my right to have any future v.a. approved loans...they do not have any authority over a federal government program. I fought in vietnam, though I did not want to be there, I was a good american soldier nevertheless...bank of america has been dragging their feet as far as their promises to the feds and to the american public, they are a disgrace.I demand justice and have only "just begun to fight" to use a quote from history.

Bank of america has a collection company associated with the main company that is named "bac home loans collection services, LP"at 450 american way in simi valley, and another in van nuys, california. I will give all their other known addresses to any consumer who contacts this blog.
According to the "fair debt collection practices act" if a collector becomes so invasive that they use unethical and illegal methods to go after the consumer that may be only a couple of months behind on payments due to financial hardship, by this federal mandate the consumer may send the collector a certified return request letter stating that they wish all communication with them by the collector to cease and desist, the collector can only legally contact the consumer one time letting the consumer know that they received the letter and that from that point on would not be sending any further correspondence except if there were any changes in the status of the contract.
I sent 'bac home loans servicing, LP' such a letter and they completely violated this law and continued to send me notices of intent.
Now to get back to the purpose of my original blog about "homeowners relief center" from orange, ca., this company has been dishonest and has not provided any of the services they promised. They promise clients that they will correspond with any mortgage company the consumer may have and they will get your loan modified at a 4.00% fixed interest rate. that interest rate was quoted to me three different times over the phone when I contacted the company.
Homeowners relief center, since hiring them last may has not sent me even one single document showing any progress they are making or trying to make with my mortgage company. They have not sent me any documents showing ongoing communication with my bank, phone records, approval promised by loan company as well as any denials or refusals by loan company. The only service "homeowner's relief center' has given me is rhetoric and empty promises by phone. Do not go to or trust in any manner their website "http://www.homownersreliefcenter.com"
