To Whom it may concern:
We paid Homeowners Relief Center $4,125.00 upfront to help us in a modification of our home.
The only communication that we had from them was voice mail saying everything was going well.
Then we received a letter saying they were going to start Forclosure proceedings.So I faxed the letter to the relief center.We received another voice mail saying that that was to be expected.
At this time I stopped payment of an additional $1,375.00 (total in all $5,500.) until I talked with them one on one to see how things were really going.They never returned my calls or faxes.
About a week later we received official pappers from court on the forcloseure. Now I have to pay out more money for attorney fees.
Don't listen to them when they tell you to stop paying your mortgage payments.(they will deny saying that)It only makes it harder to keep your home. I am out of $4,125. and all the back mortgage payments yet to be made plus now attorney fees.Still could lose my home.
We wish now that we would never have started this mess.
