HI everyone:

I use HSBC through a Comp USA computer purchases. At first it sound very great deal 6 month with no interest attach. By the first month or two I recive a payment plus 18 dollars say when I sign up for the card I also sign up for their protection program or some sort. So I decided that it is not a good idea to keep the crad therefore in a month or two after I recieve the charge. After I pay off all my payment they still impose another 18 dollar and some other late fees which I am total have no idea about. So I call HSBC and pay off the payment over the phone with 15 more dollar of the over phone check charge this past december without any question. I also check and double check with operator ask "Ma'I will have no more charge in this account right?", and operator says,"No you will not have any charge in this account jsut give us a day or two clear your check and we will send you a confirmation letter shortly."

A day or two later, I recieve 2 letters from HSBC, one indicated that I have 0 balance in the account, and other letter show the account has been close. as happy as I am I though the is the last time I have to deal with HSBC, and I jsut put the letters away. In this middle of Jan I recieve again a letter from them again this time they told me the check I pay that day did not went through, and they were imposing another late feed of 10 dollar 25 dollars for return check, original payment of 18.43. So I call them on Feb /14/05 ask they why they told me the check did not went through. I ask for the manerger the operator transfer me to the debt collection center. I ask the operator "how can you guys tell me the acount was close and balance is 0 last time I call you guys and now you guys impose more charge on me again." He explain by "Sir the check did not went through that why." Than I ask he "why does the previous operator promise me there would be no more charge and account was close that day and I still recive charge." and he repeat what he is says again. I also says"How about the 0 balance letter I recieve." He first say "where is your letter" I say," I lost it." Than ask he again hes says "we send the letter as soon as you make the payment that letter just mean you have pay the payment and nothing else." than I explain my situation he was not even interest at all and use very cold tone says "From your situation I do not heard any problem at all so if you have no question for me I will hang up". Next I ask he is there any higher people I can speak to he say "no", and just give me a PO box address for their complaint center. Than I finally give in and ask my girl friend to do check payment for me. I also told he that I will be check back once the payment has been post he told me 24-48 hours and says, "If the check clear you will have not more payment to make". Than he give me his work number and extension. I give him a call back around 4 all i got is answer machine.

I try it around 7 times already, all I want is reassurance that will not have anything to do with this account anymore. Than I call another custumer service line as suprise as I am ther is another 0.13 charge impose to my account even thought the payment I made 2 days ago has been clear. the operator told me they will wave the feed for me and will send me another 0 balance letter to me. I tell her my new address. couples pf hour later I found out I gave her the wrong adress so I call the line back again and tell he my correct address, and he told me the 0.13 balance is still there this time he reassure me that amount will be wave, and letter will be send to the correct address. I will keep on trying until I reach the collection operator that talk to me that day.

HSBC's operator does not care about their custumer at all. For all my credit card from bank or credit card company all the operator were all nicely talk to me and willing to listen to me and solve my problem. All that HSBC operator just made me in fault and whatever they action were always legit. Does anyone know there is any complaint I can fiel to HSBC or any other angency to stop them so no one else has to suffer the same faith as I am.
