HSBC/HFC Loan modification Brandon Florida

 I had an okay mortgage with HFC my intrest rate would go down every year as long as i made my payments on time and i did. untill i got a letter from them saying my mortgage had changed and they were no longer going to lower the intrest rates.almost a year ago now i started to fall behind last febuary i applied for a loan modification and was approved i just had to make the trial period payments.

In May i got a letter saying i owe 4500.00 when i called i was told i was 3 months behind on the mortgage and they had no record of any modifcation even though i have paperwork saying i was approved he told me they just upgraded the system and my info must be on the old system.

so i called 2 days ago to try and make a payment i was told my account has a block on it so i can not make a payment online or over the phone he could not tell me why my account was blocked that info must be on the old system and the only way i could make a payment was to send cash via western union and gave me an address to send it to (ya i trust this wouldn't you?) I talked to a real estate lawyer he said the best thing to do would be forecloser i will never see the end of this loan in my lifetime.

HELP!! i dont want to loose my house but i am tired of fighting with them i know i can't win!!!!!!
