Hughes Net Internet Service A total rip-off, these people are liars and scam artists! Internet

I live in a small rual town where high-speed internet access was hard to come by, when I signed up for Hughes Net 1 & 1/2 yrs. ago. It has been a total nightmare! I am waiting for my contract to run out (and to see what excuse they come up with to charge me another fee!) and I will go back to dial-up if nothing else is available in my area. Hughes Net has the poorest service, I have been cut off because of automatic downloads, I am the only user of my computer and I don't download anything!

I was told to set my downloads to happen between 3-6 a.m., then my computer should be faster! I bought a new computer and was without service for 4 days (most of this time I was on the phone with them) Until finally I got someone who spoke English and got my NEW computer up and running. The first 5 people told me something was wrong with my new computer. I had to keep asking for a supervisor at which time I would be placed on hold and promptly hung up on!! The customer service people are unfriendly and rude!

Also my bill is suppose to be 59.99 plus 20.00 for equipment, (I downgraded a few months ago) The first bill after I downgraded was 79.99 and the last two bills have been 89.99. What's up with that? Guess I'll spend my next day off, on the phone, with Hughes Net, (mostly on hold) to try to figure out this latest rip-off!!!! My advice? STAY AWAY FROM HUGHES NET!!!
