Here to tell you all do not be fooled by the Hughes Net ads. The latency (ping) on a good day is 550ms-800ms. That means it takes nearly 3/4 of a second for your computer to communicate with a host server. Even simple web browsing is hit or miss because the connection times out. Don't even think about trying to play games on this service as well. You sign up, pay nearly $480 to get the service then after you are so frustrated that your wasting more time attempting to view; i.e. your online banking refreshing your browser over and over hoping it connects than it would have taken to get in your car, drive to your bank, wait in line and check your account in person. So after you decide the service is not worth keeping all they refund you is a poor sum of $200. This service is a scam. Please do not make the same mistake.
