HULU will not cancel account and continues to charge credit card Internet

I signed up for a hulu account to use with my Roku box. It was unusable so I decided to cancel it.
They are unable to identify the email address signed up with and neither am I so they cannot cancel it and have been charging $7.99 per month for 4 months since I requested to cancel. I had deleted the email address hoping that would work but did not...now I am stuck, they say they cannot cancel it - even though it has never been used.
I think my only recourse is to cancel my Paypal account that they keep charging. I have been in touch with their customer support numerous times and they say they cannot help me.

Today I finally recieved a reply and refund in process from Hulu. I only wish it had happened sooner but at least it happened. Perhaps posting here helped. Thank you.
