Hurley state bank rips everyone off! Even if you have perfect credit and you get a credit card through them (Gateway for example) - they give you the highest interest rate allowed in the state you reside in. NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOUR CREDIT IS. They charge you ridiculous monthly payments, and if you send your payment in on time, or send more than you are supposed too.. they don't post it until after it's due date - and charge you a ridiculous late fee!

If you move or change addresses, they don't update their files, and if you sit on the phone for an hour on hold just to talk to a live person, they say they have your old address over and over again, and they take the new one and say it's updated, but then when you call again next month to ask why they say your payment is late when you KNOW you sent it in early, they don't have your new address and never will... they are a bunch of incompetent idiots who don't know how to do their job and steal people's money by fraudulently stating that your monthly payments are late no matter HOW MANY TIMES YOU send it in early. PLUS! They don't even send you your monthly statement until about three days until your due date, so unless you make your own envelope with their address on it and send it in before you get your statement, then your payment will be late anyway!

This company needs to be shut down or investigated by an authoritative government authority and discontinued by Gateway. Gateway will draw itself down into the gutter if it continues to use shady companies like this.

SOLUTIONS TO ALL THE RIP OFFS FROM GATEWAY AND HURLEY BANK

I hope this helps to ease all the complaints that dealt with money issue with Gateway and the unfair procedures Hurley Bank conducts. I received my free copy of my credit report today and saw as I suspected all my other creditors showed I was never late. I have written a letter to one of the credit databases, Trans Union to get this problem resolved.

If it helps to ease the minds of customers that were swindled by Gateway or Hurley Bank monetary wise then I would like to tell you I have copied and pasted your complaints and plan to send them along with my complaint to Trans Union to show I am not the only one that has been treated unfairly.

The tech issue I am sorry to say I left out. I suggest that all customers that had unfair dealings with Gateway and Hurley Bank monetary to do the same and maybe this will be removed from your credit report.

I have explained to Trans Union I am going to give them a chance to resolve this issue which they promised me they would in 30 days and if not then I am going to turn all my paper work and letters over to the Federal Trade Commission.

If all customers that complain wants justice then lets do something about it instead of just complaining. Something I learned in college "the masses" which are the people can change the way procedures are conducted in business or in politics but you have to speak out to the right entity and not just sit and complain on the internet.

I don't think I can put the name of the 3 major credit bases in this message, but you can go to your credit bureau located in your home town as I did and get a list of their names, addresses and phone numbers. Just be sure to document, copy and save all paper work. Good Luck

Not only did you go through that, but I guarantee they did this to you as well. You move, a letter gets returned to them and you call to make sure everything is ok with them since this looks hokey on your part. Well, like me, you just got reported for credit card fraud and when you call the number associated with this claim they tell you that the sister company must have done it. Great! Now when I try to get a car, I have to explain this b.s. to someone and even I don't believe it!
