We purchased a "used" THERMODYNE hydrogen appliances "commander wind turbine that was supposed to output 1600 watts per the advertisement. We have had this unit though 70 mile per hour straight line wind and see no more than 200 watts". Further research indicated that this scammer has been screwing people over for years doing the same ridiculous fabrication of product ratings|. This wind turbine as wind blue describes will not even start spinning until 12 mph winds nor make usable power until almost 20 mph winds?.

This is a complete piece of *** and we want our money back, however good luck contacting a guy that does not even have a better business rating or listing'. This company as best I can tell is ran out of a UPS shipping store and has no contact information he will answer. They are made in the USA. . .  You just haven't looked.  It is the other guy who was buying the Chinese PMA's and reselling them for a hugh profit.  Read back.  It's been proved numerous times.  Just like modifying someone elses PMA, screwing it up and blaming them.  This is what he does.

MISERY wind and solar also buys CHEAP Chinese PMA's that are rated at 135 Watts and sell them on his wind turbines and rates them at 1600 Watts.  He does this AFTER he gets a COGGING complaint and sends the customer THIS easy turnign piece of junk which spins easy but makes only 1/12 of the promised wattage.

This has nothing to do with Jeff. You guys twist and contort and say something is about Jeff whom is presumabley "angry" because his supply has been "cut off". I have seen a video with him in an American plant having things manufacturedand he seems happy. Thermodyne advertises made in USA  yet its not stamped marked and we challenge them to show a video of the making blades in the USA.    This is simply because they can't show that on a Chinese imported falsley advertised product If I am wrong show me and I'll apologize publiclly.....Jeff has nothing to do with a man advertising a 1500 watt wind turbine made out of a delco alternator.....lets see in make over 200 with a real meter attached.....consider it a challenge....I don't think you can do it boy.....Thus the Fraud

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has long required that any explicit or implicit advertising claim that a product is Made in the USA be truthful and substantiated.[1] And this requirement is rigorously applied. Specifically, under the FTCs view of the consumer protection laws, such a product must have been assembled in the United States, and all or virtually all of its components must be of U.S. origin. If one or more of those elements is not metfor example, if the FTC believes that an excessive amount of the production costs could be allocated to actions in another countrythen the FTC considers the advertisement deceptive and illegal unless it is otherwise qualified (i.e., Assembled in the USA or Assembled in the USA with foreign parts).

Now the stakes for making Made in the USA claims have been raised. A new opinion from the California Supreme Court increases the possibility that a Made in the USA claim will be scrutinized not only by the FTC, but by the plaintiffs bar as well.
In Kwikset Corp. v. Superior Court,[2] the California Supreme Court held that a plaintiff has standing to sue under Californias Unfair Competition Law (UCL) and false advertising laws solely based on the allegation that the plaintiff bought a product purportedly Made in the USA when that product in fact contained foreign-made parts or involved foreign manufacture.[3] Rejecting the argument that there needed to be some allegation of real economic injury, the court held that the plaintiff need not show that the products value was actually inflated by the false claim or it was somehow otherwise sold for more than its true value to the detriment of a consumer. The court, in effect, holds that an intrinsic, subjective value is enough to meet a harm threshold for standing.

This new ruling may have broad implications. The logic in Kwikset is not confined to Made in the USA claims. It could be applied to advertising about any subjectively valued qualityfor example, purported environmental benefits or other socially desirable considerations. This ruling likely means that advertisers should brace for a potentially more challenging litigation climate in California.

This is obviously Jeff Harmon of Missouri Wind and Solar making this last statement.  He has continued to trash Thermodyne and the owner because the owner cut off his supply.  It seems Mr. Harmon was a Thermodyne dealer and was false advertising the product.  Mr. Harmon made physically impossible claims,as he still does today about Chinese knock offs.  The Owner of Thermodyne caught him and stopped supplying Missouri with wind turbines.  Ever since then, Mr. Harmon has been trashing Thermodyne.  That is how this complaint got started.

Over time, Missouri Wind and Solar has been selling product poorly made.  They do not warranty anything, and as seen above.  He is nasty and blames everyone else for his shortfalls.

This complaint was started by Mr. Harmon.  This is his twisted way of trying to divert your attention to him in this case.  If you Google Missouri Wind and Solar, you will find Dozens of people he has defrauded and abused.  He appears to have some issues that need to be worked on.  One thing for sure, he's a pathological liar.  We can prove that.  He also has a shady history, ripping people off for pennies to whole businesses.  But yet he continues on his merry way blaming everyone else but himself.

As a Former Missouri Wind and Scam customer, I can tell you the Thermodyne product is nothing like he claims.  Actually his interpretation of Thermodyne is exactly what Missouri Wind and Solar is.

I am not the Steve mentioned either.  I happen to be another person named Steve, a victim of Missouri Wind and Solar.  Everything said in the original complaint is a false statement.  It technically should be removed as it is slanderous.  The poster is obviously Jeff Harmon of Missouri Wind and Solar.  Jeff is guilty of stealing designs from Thermodyne.  Thermodyne has been in business for 25 years and Missouri for maybe 4.  I bought from Missouri Wind and was sadly disappointed.  The turbines did not produce what I expected and was advertised, and his charge controller is advertised at 440 Amps, but has 125 Amp breakers, and 120 Amp wire.  It also discharged my battery bank.  Thermodyne has been strictly professional.  Actually they saved my system.

That all said, when I approached Mr. Harmon, about the issues, he ignored me.  After several exchanges it became heated.  But I never wished him harm or his family.  In exchange he sent this email to me on Christmas eve, then again on Christmas day, twice.

My point is this is clearly not something Thermodyne sent me,  This is the same attitude reflected by the plaintiff here.    As stated above, this is Mr. Harmon's method of doing business.  Not to mention Thermodyne is less expensive for the same basic equipment.  They sure aren't price gouging, and they make their own.  They don't buy what they can get on eBay (Check it out yourself),  and resell it to you for twice the cost.  Incidently, I replaced my defective Missouri products with Thermodyne.  Now everything is working the way it is supposed too.

This is a case of competitor bashing.  When I heard the story of a blade sticking in the ground I knew this sounded like pure case of  "Jeff Harmon Drama Theater" in action.   This is how Missouri Wind and Solar makes a living, by "Bashing others".  If they arent busy bashing the Chinese, brown skinned people or some other ethnic poeple's then their busy bashing competitor's.
It says a whole lot about a company when they make their living by pointing fingers.  That's the first clue about a person terrified to have fingers pointed at back at themselves.  Since the city of Saymor, MO BBB gave Missouri Wind and Solar an F- rating I am sure they do not want any fingers pointing back at them!  This review was a false flag attack on me the owner of www.hydrogenappliances.com and Steve, an X customer of Missouri Wind and Solar's that went down fighting and has never stopped.

I am a customer of hydrogen appliances and know this claim to be anything but true , also i recognize right away just from the language , that this i none other than Jeff Harmon of Missouri wind and solar, aka Mountain wind trading.     he is a competitor, and if you check the Better buissiness Beaurau you can see that he is only reffering to himself, beware dont believe the first negative thing you hear, especialy from some one who is a direct competititor. and not telling the truth. (unless he is talking about himself)

I was just notified of this report. I am the Steve, mentioned in this report and I DID NOT FILE THIS REPORT. Infact I have never bought anything from this company. This is an attack because I started a channel (on youtube), called the "scamsearcher2" that reports the scams of MISSOURI WIND AND SOLAR. There is another channel that just started on you tube called "Americanawaerness" that has been listing all the neg reviews posted on the wed that describes what to expect from Missouri Wind and Solar and there products and service. 

This report and I am sure many other to come will be posted against Hyd. Apl. Hyd Apl is the former employer of the owner of Missouri Wind and Solar and this owner stole the ideas before he left and started MWS with these idea. He was unable to make a workable product. He now attacks Hyd Apl. to try to discredit this company and make MWS look good.

Now, once again he has crossed the line and made a fraudulent report using someone elses name.This shows to what length MWS will go, even comet fraud to try to discredit his competitor.

What ever you do- Do not believe this report because it is false. I have never bought anything from this company and have no idea how Hyd Apl products even preform.
