IADT Orlando RIP OFF Orlando Nationwide

I relocated to Florida in 2006 where I was looking into obtaining my Bachleors in Science. I contacted IADT Orlando because the commercial stated that they carried the degree I wanted as well being a Nationally Accredited Institution. When I spoke to a man from the school & asked questions about the Credits transferring as well as tution cost he had stated that because they were Nationally Accredited "All" Credits were Transferrable & the cost of tution was unknown at the time due to them not knowing what classes I would be taking. I scheduled an appointment with this man & attended the appointment three days later. After findingng out that the tution was $12,500.00 per sesmester I was not interested as I felt I can be a Doctor for all that tution. I told this man I needed to think about it & walked out. Later that evening I recieved a phone call from this man stating that there was only one seat left & if I didnt take it that I may not be able to start until next semester & he had made a mistake on the cost that it was only $1200.00 per semester & that that included all my books. I signed up & started class a week later but not before my appointment with Financial Aid. While being in the Financial Aids Office I was signing my life away and being told that this was so I wouldnt have to worry about having to come back in every semester to re-sign(which I did have to anyway).

I started class on 9-6-2006 and within weeks was already receiving straight A's which I found to be incrediable because I always had to work hard for my grades & this seemed too easy to accomplish. I also found that the very people I had attended classes with were also Instructors which I couldnt understand because where I come from you have to have a Teaching Degree in order to Teach! I also felt that I wasn't getting the Education I was paying for & the classes only lasted 6 weeks due to them being Accelerated is what I was told. Meanwhile I just paid $640.00 for a book that I only got 6 chapters out of??? What a Rip Off!!! I then asked to speak to the Dean & found out that the Dean had been fired, so was the President of the school but that a new guy was coming to take their place. After a few weeks I had a meeting with the new President of the school & voiced my concerns about the Education as well as the professionalism of the Instructors & he assured me that it would get better that the school was going through some major changes & just bare with him as he was just coming on board to clean this place up!

 I was a 33yr old single mother of three & making Presidents List, Deans List every semester & that to me was not possible because I didnt work that hard to have those grades especially when i had classmates teaching too! Well I decided to transfer into a real college in Gainsville & thats when I found out that not one of my credits would transfer & I wasnt able to receive any Financial Aid  either. I felt stuck & deceived to say the least. I contacted a Lawyer, several Lawyers & all stated that I needed to find more people like me in order for us to fight against a Corporation like this however at that point I didnt want to return to that school & continue to pay for a college education I wasnt getting. After moving into a new home & my home burning down & my student loans coming into repayment without my knowledge due to being put up into a hotel & mail like that wont transfer to po boxes, I finally moved in with a family member & found out that I have over a 150k in student loans! I cant afford the payments nor did I even know that I was being charged 12,500 a semester muchles the interest rates that were through the roof because they stated that they wouldnt know the rate until my first payment came due. My credit is ruined, my life has been ruined as I cant get a home, car, credit card & have to live like a second class citizen because of this!!! I was homeless with three children for 3years because no one would rent to me! I have no furniture because I cant get any credit to get some & my income tax check gets taken every year!
