Newport Capital Ventures Ian Adlington and his senior partner Glenn Easterbrook took $25,000 from my company to set up a UK company that would then be funded in the amount of $5M by an underwriting by the Qatar Investment Fund, which Ian said he managed in the US.  I was introduced to Ian via a trusted mutual friend in the investment community and was assured he was legitimate.  After I wired Ian the money, I could not get Ian on the phone, nor would he respond to text and email.  I later learned he has nothing to do with the Qatar royal family or their funds and that he has been ripping people off for some time.  He preys on business people who believe his credentials and are taken in by his con. Glenn Easterbrook is Ian's wingman and fields all communication while stalling the victim of this scam in hopes he'll just go away.  Beware>  Avoid these guys at all costs.
