We allowed IPA to come in because the person on the phone told me that if we felt that they helped us in any way we would then pay them $300.00. After being insulted for 4 hours by the consultant on how poorly our company was ran and how we were riding out a good economy, and how me and my partner are just "good ole boys" doing business the old fashioned way, he called his analysts. The so called analyst that he called recommended that we desperately need there help and that they had a number of ways for us to improve. After they ended the phone conversation we declined their help, so the consultant calls them back and somehow miraculously now they feel that they can't help us.

Now its time for the consultant to leave so he stands up and says, well if i can just get my $300.00 I will be on my way. I immediatly told him that it was negotiable and we felt they didnt help us in any way. He said he couldnt leave until he had a check because all the expenses he incured for travel. We wrote him the check just to get him to leave.

Since then they have called back approximately 15 times and I continue to tell them to not call back. Another consultant called my partner under the company IBA and came in. At the time we didnt know they were affiliated. We got rid of him quickly when he showed up.

Its a shame that this company continues to harass us and there isnt much we can do about it. I feel lucky they only got away with $300.00 after reading some of the other stories. I would gladly be a part of any class action lawsuit against this company. Something should be done.

Received another call today 3-1-04. I just dont know what else I can say or do but hang up. How hard is it to remove a phone number from a call list.

This is in response to Brian from OHIO who was ticked off because he was still getting calls from IPA/IBA after they ripped him off..



Well Brian, I am sorry to tell you that those repeated phone calls you are getting from IPA/IBA will... NEVER stop coming. I am an Ex-employee of IPA/IBA. I worked there for a long enough period of time to tell you, for a fact, that even when you request to be removed from someone's calling list...... You can be sure to find yourself listed 10 more times on some other poor unknowing telemarketer's list.



THE IPA/IBA SLOGAN IS:

"OUR LEFT HAND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT OUR RIGHT HAND IS DOING!"



The blame lies NOT on the Telemarketer, (or Business Coordinator, as they call them) The blame sits at the top of the heap with the administration. They don't give a d**n how stupid they make their employees look and feel.



At that company, only a small handful make any money.



Brian, the only thing you can do to stop IPA/IBA from calling you, is to change the name of your business, and your phone number and remove it from all directories and go underground. OR you can always Claim Bankruptsy. IPA/IBA will certainly never need to!

I dont know of any company out there that provides services for free. What do you think your web site is going to do for me and the other companies ipa-iba has done wrong? Anybody can make a web site and post any information they want on it. Maybe you should do a better search for complaints because im not the only one out there. Please inform me of the steps i would have to take to stop the calls because they still continue. 1-26-04 received phone call told not to call back. 2-3-04 phone call talked to management explained situation told not to call back he said he would take care of it. 2-4-04 received phone call another person who said he was management, i explained situation to him, told not to call back, he said he would take care of it. 2-9-04 my partner received phone call, he advised not to call back. I am keeping notes of names, day, and times of every call. What do i have to do? It does sound off the wall to me too. What kind of company is ipa-iba? What do i have to tell your people so that you understand we do not want your services, we do not want you to call.

I am sorry that Brian and his partner feel this way.

I am an employee with IBA and first of all if you check our web site you would find all information on our company. Our record speaks for itself.

I am not calling anyone a liar but there are some people with the I'll show them attitude and try to obtain service for free. Funny when I went to see other complaints aimed towards IBA there were none. Also, if you are truely being harassed, there are other steps to take to stop it. This all just sounds to off the wall.

Thats all I have to say.
