I got a call one day from a Mr. Joe London, he claimed to be the supervisor of this company. He totally assured me that if i could come up with this $398 that his company would be able to help me get a grant to purchase me a new home for me and my children.

well at the time i did not have it and i had to do alot of begging. i came up with the money he took my account info and it went down hill from there.

it took two months to get the packet i was suppose to receive. then when i received and mailed it back i never got any reponse.

i called they gave me some number to customer service and they said that they had 3 months to reply and to call back on the 15 of march. so i waited called back and he promised me that my money would be returned. that has happen yet. nobody ever answers the phone it always goes to this voicemail and they dont return the calls. somebody please help!

nursing student ripped-off

AUTHOR: Ms. Dana Hopson - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 29, 2008

My name is Dana and I was a student nurse trying to finish my last year and a half at Marian College. I visited a website (mscompany.com) in search of a grant for school because I was living on my own, went to a very expensive college, and had already exhausted all my student loans and government grants, I had no other options available. My bills were also behind so I was very vulnerable to the situation of finding a grant.

Two days after entering my information to the above website, I was contacted by a lady named Jessica Murry-Kinicki from Quebec as a representative of the company Grantfile International, who assured me that I would be eligible to apply for 100,000.00 in grants if I just sent her one payment of 398.00 on 08/10/07. So I sent them the money. I didnt get a response for about 8 weeks so I called the toll-free number that I was given, I spoke to a man that assured me that a government grant application was on its way to me. About a week later I did recieve that package and mailed it right off to this address: 1320 State Route 9, Champlain, NY 12919. Well, three months went by so I would call the addresses toll-free number and kept playing phone tag with customer service. Sometimes I would call and the line would be busy or I would call and get their voicemail, leave a message sometimes they would call me back, sometimes I would have to call repeatedley to get a call back only to be told that it would be another 8 to 12 weeks before I received anything. Another six months went by and I got nothing. I started calling again and kept getting a busy signal. So I called the other toll-free number I had from NY, and I was told that they no longer handle calls for Grantfile anymore and that grantfile is out of business.
