I have also heard something about the IMVU from the different user's that thet are getting free imvu credits online but don't know how it could be fixed in case it is happening.

IMVU has been consistently disabling developers to generate profit for themselves, especially after developers reach high account balance, IMVU.com disables them and takes the profit. This has been attempted on more popular developers with more backings, who were able to fight the unfair disables. However other smaller developers have been way less fortunate in the course.

 And this company receives a "A+" rating on BBB, BBB itself is also corrupt.

IMVU maintains a "no report no action" approach, which means users can submit hate products, decipate sucide imageries, and even worse pedophilia contents WITH NO CONSEQUENCE for extensive period of time.

I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF AGAIN!

Derived a simple room poster for Valentines day.
A fully-clothed couple kissing and marked it "Adults Only"
(Which means no minors can see it.)

500C- upload fees 699C derivation charge" = 1,199C. ($2.00 USD)

I was there in 07 and IMVU STOLE Hundreds of thousands of credits from my developers team !!!!!!!!!! (Which you can turn into real cash)

I also lost real cash that I paid to join the Adult Community. $300.00USD

In addition to the rip offs listed above.

~ IMVU can disable your account for any reason they would like to make up.

Example: Suppose someone dont like you and your page is locked in behind an AP door. (That means anyone that did not purchase an adult pass (Minors) cannot see your home page, group or public room.)

Suppose on your ADULT MARKED page you have a photo of a couple kissing.

The people that do not like you, gather their IMVU GANG.

The gangs start to attack your home page filing false abuse reports and they start attacking (Flagging) all your products also.

After a certain amount of complaints.

Regardless, of the complaints validity.

IMVU will disable your account!

Effectively stealing all your personal inventory that you paid actual cash to buy,

all the products you made for re-sale

AND any credits you were stupid enough to leave in ur developer account. O_O

It is then up to you to try and fight for your account back VIA a help tickets only.

I have help tickets over 6-months old that were never answered!
(I do send new help tickets every 14-days if my ticket was not answered and still have help tickets over 6-months old!)

~ A new thing is happening at IMVU that is ripping us off.

IMVU has in my opinion a fraudulent peer review process.

Where the people vote to allow or disallow products.

I have run into a few situations where.

IMVU AND THEIR PEER REVIEW PROCESS PASSED

CERTAIN DERIVABLE PRODUCTS.

Good or bad I do not know.

I simply click derive form the mesh that had passed peer review

and was sanctified BY IMVU for derivation!

** I paid the derivation fees in excess of 100,000C ($55.00USD)

** I also paid the upload fees in excess of 40,000C ($20.00USD)

(= $75.00USD just in derivation fees)

** Within a week: I had sold 500,000C ($250.00USD) of said permissible products.

and without being given any time what so ever,

to correct what ever the problem was..

I would like to stress not only is IMVU taking advantage of the fraudulent situation on their website. They lack the basic concept of the Customer comes first.

In every response IMVU made through their Forum manager, They have put the business 1st with no thought to the paying consumer.

I have serious doubts many people are willing to spend their time and money on a business that doesn't think of their customers first.

I certainly would hope that "To Be Sponsors" would think twice before investing or advertising on such a website that has no regard to their clientele. This type of business will not last long. There is no sense throwing money away.
