I was on IMVU for the whole amount of three hours,and my account was terminated for the reason as follows.I began on IMVU purchased a premium membership,everything was fine,purchased some credits,then purchased some more credits everything still fine. Then the trouble started,I read some of the mail that was in my IMVU mail box and read that I was suppose to recieve 200,000.00 credits,then Poof here's this avatar that works for IMVU that was suppose to "walk me thru the process to get my free credits". Well to start she was rude and tacky with her "prompts",it was "huh" or "what" like some street walker standing on a curb on a dark trashy street.Well right off as soon as I went to the URL that she told me to go to I became alarmed,because why would someone have to go to another URL for the same credits that you could purchase right on that URL? Well Lord and behold ,the girl Avatar said "OH" don't mind the "PORN" advertizement on the page,we don"t have quote "any control" over the advertizement on "our sites",she said,just go ahead and put your information on their and let me know when your thru,yeah right. Well ,I was floored that I had let myself get a Porn page on my computer,second was how stupid would I be to enter my personal info and connect to the page,and take a chance on it going to IMVU or having a "Porn Site" connected to my computer,do you follow me.Plus the fact that I would then have a Porn page copied onto my hard drive if I summited info. I refused,well,she came back and said "OH" don't worry it isn't for the quote the "Porn" site don't worry.Well I stopped right there and said to myself, this isn't right,first off they are just up and giving me 200,000.00 just out of the blue ,hadn't been in the game 2hrs,had not done anything special,and I guess I was suppose to just take it hook line and sinker. Well the whole time me and her was standing in this room and she's making her Avatar make all these provacative poises and it started to click in my head this could be a big trick,and to tell you the truth,it started scareing me.And I was totally in shock and told her I was not putting my info right next to a Porn Site,No Way,and she then said you have to finish the transaction,and I told her I didn't have to do anything,and she then said "OH' yes you do,or else your account will be terminated,well,I said ok terminate my account,cause I had done decided I didn't want nothing to do with IMVU. All just because of the Porn page,and as a matter of fact I when and bought another brand spanking new computer because of the Porn site and because their software done damage to my old computer and put very bad Viruses in it and i felt all my information was vunarable to IMVU and who know who else.i felt very very threated by that whole exsperience,exstremely threatened. And I was like probable like alot of people,lost on how to contact these people,well,i started searching for and address and phone number.I looked and Look on there site before I got booted off and couldn't find nothing.I was in a real panic because i had invested 80.94 in about 3hrs and now had absolutely nothing to show for it. I finally looked them up on the BBB and that's where I got a phone number and an address,to no avail though,got told to go to the help site and file a "case",yeah right and I did and after about 15 minutes an employee emailed me and told me they would let me have my account back if I finished the transaction,I told her no-way,and that their web site really sucked.

You got scammed by an avatar pretending to work for IMVU. There are 3rd party credit sellers, you probably got scammed to go to one of the bad ones.
