This companies trading practices are both illegal and fraudulent. There are others who have also filled rip-off reports over the same issues.

This is what this company does.

They claim they have all these great plugins and for a monthly membership, you can download and install them and, as long as you continue to be a member, you can get updates to these plugins. The problem is, that these plugins are useless to begin with and don't work. It's like buying an empty box.

As an example, I joined to buy their Membership plugin. I paid my money, downloaded and installed and quickly found out that the plugin was useless, full of errors, and did not work. In fact, a member couldn't even sign up using it. I spent hours and hours trying to get the issue fixed and I was told that an update was coming. They were aware that this plugin did not work and were in the process of trying to fix it when they took my money. This, in my opinion was nothing more than theft and fraud.

Eventually, I attempted to get my money back due to their inability to make the plugin work, with no luck. Why? Because I used PayPal to make the purchase and PayPal does not cove intangibles. This company is aware of this and therefor they know that once they have your money, tough luck. So don't use PayPal. Fortunately, I have filed a fraud claim against PayPal with my bank and will be getting a refund.

But wait, there's more . . .

So this thieving company will sell you a plugin they know is bad, but you can download updates for 30 days. If you cancel your membership after 30 days and they come up with an update to fix the crap product you bought to begin with, you can't download it unless you join again and pay them the $79 or more. So your stuck with a useless product unless you keep paying.

Just look at their site. ALL THEIR FORUMS ARE FULL OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PLUGINS NOT WORKING.

DO NOT BUY A THING FROM THIS COMPANY. Do your research.

I have asked the Florida State Attorney to investigate this mass.

The link within this persons rebuttal is to a beta

AUTHOR: Incsub LLC - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 28, 2014

Please note that the link which this person refers to in his last rebuttle is to a forum thread that contains a beta release of our plugin.

Beta releases are not for production use.

Beta releases are made in the forum for testing purposes and will contain bugs. We release these to allow members to participate in testing prior to the official release and are designed to squash as many bugs as possible to ensure upgrade production sites are as a smooth as possible.

The title of the ticket and link clearly states beta.

They Continue To Steal

AUTHOR: JayBro - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 27, 2013

First, I let these thieves know about this report as I wanted to give them an opportunity to respond. Notice in their response they don't mention refunds, although they do admit to
selling bad software.

Here is another RipOff report about this company. I feel his pain.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/wpmudev-org/internet-fraud/internet-internet-d14cc.htm

http://www.ripoffreport.com/wpmu-org/computer-fraud/internet-internet-fa270.htm

Here are more,

(((REDACTED)))

THE BOTTOM LINE HERE IS SIMPLE. THIS COMPANY PROVIDES USELESS PRODUCTS AND DOES SO KNOWING THEY WONT HAVE TO GIVE REFUNDS. THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW AND I HAVE ASKED THE FLORIDA STATE ATTORNEY TO INVESTIGATE.

PAYPAL IS ALSO LOOKING INTO THIS COMPANY DUE TO COMPLAINTS.

Again, my advice is very simple. Read my complaint, the other complaints, the numerous issues with their plugins on their own site and the and decide for yourself.

They claim I have aliases. I have a PayPal account with multiple users. They call them aliases. I call
them partners.

PayPal did not side with this company. PayPal was unable to refund intangibles. These thieves know this and can hide behind this rule. So if you are dumb enough to buy anything from these thieves, you will be oput of luck and out of money.

I did download a bunch of their useless plugins when I first joined, but after testing just 2, I realized I got conned and deleted them. I spent 8-10 hours trying to resolve an issue with one plugin eventually realizing they are nothing more than scammers and requested a refund. Of course, they refused.

And was I nasty to them? Sure was. I dont like people scamming and stealing from me.

They post some link to a few happy customers.

Here is a link to just one of their plugin support forums. Read them and you will get an idea of how bad this company is.

http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/membership-344-beta

And here are just some of their fixes. Dont forget all their plugins are like this.

- fixed feed key setting display on profile page

- fixed feed adding to standard feed links in theme

- fixed expired coupons still being applied to subscriptions

- added check for valid usernames and associated error
message

- added check for valid email address and associated error
message

- added first pass cron class to process members and move
them through subscriptions without users needing to login

- added method to automatically speed up cron processing if
there are a lot of members to get through :)

- updated redirect to protected page to check if not already
on that page

- initial set up of extra permissions so that users can be
restricted to only have permissions that they need.

- fix for posts default rule warnings

- fix for posts default rule interfering with other post
types

- removed some filters from the pages rule

- fixed categories negative rule

- added ability to prefix content in the membership powered
pages rather than them overwrite any existing content.

Added in beta 3

-------------

- fix for coupons with no expiry date being seen as expired

- fix for new cron not loading all expired subscription
information

- fix for coupons admin menu being hidden

- initial code to move url group processing *not complete
yet but shouldn't affect existing functionality

WPMU DEV Rebuttal.

AUTHOR: Incsub LLC - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, March 27, 2013

WPMU DEV is a software provider and just like many companies such as Nikon, Apple and many others we protect ourselves against software theft by not offering refunds on software purchases once they've downloaded the items.

We have some 300+ software items which are WordPress plugins and themes, this particular customer helped himself to a very good chunk of them, downloading those back to back.

Before requesting a refund he then issued a Paypal dispute without even consulting with us first and thus not giving us an opportunity to work through any issues. Once this happens our policy is to leave the decision with Paypal. Please note that in this instance Paypal made the decision that he is not covered under buyer protection for software and services and thus filed in our favour.

We also had a battery of nasty and abusive emails from this person, in fact he just contacted us to gloat about this report he made and thus our response here is made.

It was hard to understand why this person also went under three different aliases, it almost compounded the fact that his actions came across as fraudulent.

Happy members we've had:

http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/feedback-on-the-calendar-plugin <-- General Praise

http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/cant-access-members-from-buddypress-menu#post-174525 <-- Praise for fixing a customer issue

http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/a-hearty-and-most-sincere-thanks-to-timothy-of-wpmudev <-- Some general praise

http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/how-to-set-link-on-custom-header-in-daily-theme

We have many, many thousands of members who love our service but occasionally some have issues and whilst we hate that unfortunately sometimes it happens in large companies.

The actual amount of complaints in relation to how many members we have account for much less than 1% which isn't bad going and we're working to improve the experience those people too!

This customer was nothing but belligerent throughout, throwing accusations around, referring to us personally as pathetic and abusing our staff, calling us arse holes and more. It was for this reason we ultimately banned this person from our services.

We acted accordingly within the law hence Paypals decision to side with us in this matter. He has been nothing but abusive. Bullying simply isn't acceptable. He was not interested in finding an amicable resolve.

Unfortunately when a customer resorts to nothing but abuse and threats there is little we can do to work with them.
