I was at the Bergen Mall when someone approached me regarding my daughter. The "talent scout" asked me if I was ever interested in having my daughter become a model. I told her that it never occured my mind. She then proceeded to ask me if she can put my information on her contact list in case the directors are interested in adding her to their talents. It gave me the impression that these directors were actual movie directors so I gave her my information, wrong move!

A few days later, someone called me saying that they are interested in adding my daughter to their fall projects, which made me wonder how they were interested since there were no photos. Anyway, they convinced me to go to their office in Edgewater to meet with us and he further explicitly explained that I cannot pass this one-time opportunity because as their policy goes, they cannot change appointment dates, just the hours. So stupid me decide to bring my daughter and my husband all the way to the Edgewater from Central Jersey.

When we get there, we literally walked into a warehouse with a buzzer (now I know what the buzzer is for) and we were buzzed in. There were literally hundreds of kids and their respective parents waiting in-line to talk to so called directors. We should have left from that point on but unfortunately we did not.

We were told to sign in, sign the forms, and wait for the directors. I was like waiting for someone at the doctor's office. We waited then were told to proceed to one of the rooms to talk to the directors. A director barely in her thirties, spoke to us tld us a little about the company, showed us several pictures on a binder and told us our daughter could be one of these kids in a commercial. She proceeded to tell us that our daughter can do tv commercials, print commercials, and maybe eventually do ramp and movies, which in turn can become part of SAG. Now mind you, my daughter is 2 yrs old. I should have told her she is full of crap and left the building but in reality I was hoping it were real. The director proceeded to show us the rates of pictures which were priced from 550 (the Lowest) to a thousand (Highest). My husband then told her sorry but we cannot afford to have these pictures done as they were priced too high, it is not part of our budget. She then proceeded to tell us "well, no one said that money for their child's modelling/future was part of their budget". Which made us think twice.

There were so many warning signs from the start but my husband and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. In turn we got burned $900 dollars of our hard earned money for nothing. All we got in return was a disc full of pictures of our daughter. I'm sure that did not cost more than $300 (cd included).

It has been four weeks and still no communication from the company as to the log-in password in gigacomps. Now we're hopeless. We just felt used and duped, and we just hope that the next family who reads this story will read this while doing their research on the company. Please warn your kids, friends, neighbors and the rest of your loved ones about this company. Do not be like us and become victims of this company.
