Was in the market for a IN72 projector in early August. Checked Infocus.com and printed the rebate form for $300, rebate stated the only locations it wasnt valid for was Bestbuy, Bestbuy.com and Home Shopping Network. I decided to purchase the projector on 8-18-06 from Circuit City (Authorized Dealer).

I sent the rebate forms shortly thereafter and awaited my check. I received a letter from Infocus on 9-29-06 stating "This retailer where the product was purchased is not eligible for this rebate program"

I contacted Infocus immidiately concerning this flat out lie, they refuse to answer why and any time I bring up rebate fraud and usually "accidentally" hang up.

I have already contacted my State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau, if neither of those are able to help me, you can guaruntee they will be summoned to court.

I am posting this here to warn everyone to stay as far away from Infocus as possible.
