On or about March 31, I signed up for a "free" trial offer for an antiaging skin cream by paying shipping and handling.  Another product (eye serum) was included that I had no choice to refuse.  I checked long and wide for any terms and conditions prior to giving my card number and found none.

The products arrived on April 5 and I assumed that began my trial period.  Wrong--it began on March 31!  I was out of town and when I returned April 15, it was to find that I had 2 debits to my bank account one for $89.95 and one for $89.94, which I did not authorize.  The only thing that was with the products were packing slips--no phone numbeers, no addresses, nada!

Today, I did find a customer service number for antiagining skin cream and called to inquire about both charges and was told this customer service was for the skin cream only ($89.94).  I talked with a superisor who said that I agreed to the terms and conditions when I did the trial order--I assured him there were no terms or conditions on the order form.  He agreed to cancel the membership/subscripption and stated there would be no refund.  I asked for an address to direct correspondencr and he refused and stated that the owner of the product did not accept phone calls.  Howver, he did offer me up to 75% discount if I wanted to keep using the product.  The information on the debits was the name of the product and a street address, no city, no phone number.

I immediately went to my bank and disputed the debits and obtained a new card.  Let me assure you that there were no terms or conditiuons on the order form--I had been scammed once before and did perservere so that I eventlally received a refund.

This product was supposedly introduced on Shark Attack.
