Instant checkmate Does not provide accurate criminal database. Entered known criminals and NOTHING SHOWS UP. Internet

I paid $1.00 to try a service called Instant Checkmate for 5 days.  I looked up real known criminals and they either do not come up at all or they show all blank information for real convicted criminals.  Also show false information on people I know all my life like my 90 year old Mother and she has a criminal record?  I think I'd know about since I have had constant contact all my life.  This is a total scam and now I cant find place to cancel my 5 day trial membership and when calling the number "message is....due to heavy call volumne please hold.  After 1 hour, I hung up.  I am reporting to the Federal Trade Commission.  God knows what they will try t o  charge me after 5 days!
