Instant Checkmate Rip-off, run araound, lies, false advertising, misleading information, defamation of character Internet

They promise complete and accurate background checks for one price, get your money, give you enough false information to make you curious then want more money for little more information, and so it goes. Out of curiosity I researched myself and was appalled at the detrimental and outright untruths I found connected to my name, along with information about multiple others that "happen to have the same name." 

They also promise a "money back guarantee" if not satisfied. That's a lie! When I called to cancel I was told my refund would be applied to my credit account within seven days. Two weeks later there was no sign of a refund so I called again. I was told that there had been a "glitch in their system" and that the refund would show up in three days. 

A week later, after checking my account daily, there was still no refund so I called again. This person was just full of lies!  First she told me that she couldn't find any record of my account and said she would have to speak to someone in their credit office to see if they had any information. After being on hold with a horrible music system the person told me that their credit office had no record of receiving a payment from me and that I would have to call my credit company myself.

So I tried calling my creditor and got a recording that their offices were currently closed and I would have to call back in the morning. Totally frustrated I called Instant Checkmate again and got a different person. This person found my account without any problem and said that he would issue a refund immediately but that it may take three to five days to post. I asked him if there was any other information that their credit department needed to insure that it went through this time. He said he didn't think so but that the credit office had been closed for several hours so he couldn't ask anyone for sure. So why did the other person tell me that their credit office could not find any record of my payment?!  

Still waiting for a refund!!!
