as reported by other customers, instantcheckmate .com has continued to rip people off by the false promise to do a quick check for you for 1.00 after you have given your credit card number and then decided the info they would provide would not be worth 29.95. After you click off, there screen pops up with a 1.00 special for  5 days and if you click ok the charge is in. If you then go ahead and get the search you will be charged 29.95 per month unless you call in and cancel. The ripoff is you get charged 29.95 as a one time fee instead of 1.00. After calling a second time I was rewarded with a 50% off fee for the one time fee. BEWARE the crooks and scam artists on the web. Instantcheckmate is one of them
