Ordered a Mandolin from IA. Contacted IA for tracking information. They stated that they had no oder for me. So, I ordered a Mandolin from another dealer, since there was not a charge on my credit card from IA. I receive Mandolin from IA same day as I receive Mandolin from other dealer. C ontacted IA about return #. I took several emails and days to get the RMA# from them. Sent Mandolin to IA and delivery was confirmed on 07/06/08. Waited for refund. Contacted company again. They stated that they were unable to credit my card. I told them to send check or pay by PayPal. I have sent several emails asking about refund. Still have not received it. I threatened them with BBB and RipoffReport. They asked me to not threaten them and that check was on the way. STILL WAITING.

The only way I have found to get a response from this company is to send the same eamil up to 10 times. Tha is the only time they respond. They have never responded when I have sent only 1 email.

Could not issue refund to card because card expired, sent check!

AUTHOR: Instrumentalley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 17, 2008

This guy is crazy!!! He never called us, only emailed a few times. He ordered a mandolin package, why would we tell him we did not have an order for him and then ship one?? Frank Cowans is psychotic! We could not issue a credit to his credit card, we tired three times. He never told us the card he used was expired. We had to end up sending him a refund check. His refund was received in a timely manner.

Um, hello??

Why haven't you simply picked up the telephone and CALLED this business? It would seem to me that you could have resolved the majority, if not ALL of your issues through a few minutes of interactive dialogue. What is the point of email, when you want an answer immediately, yet have to wait for the other person to receive, read, and reply to your message?

IA responded to my multiple email to them regarding refund. They stated the check was in the mail. Still waitng after one week. They must use pony express. If you have need to get a response from this company remember to flood their inbox with the same message. It's the only method that works, see earlier post.
