I am applying for a Real Estate License and needed to see what was in my background. Knowing that I had past brushes with law enforcement, a DUI 15 yrs ago, a public intoxication 12 yrs ago, and driving with expired tags 7 yrs ago. I paid $39.95 and was double billed $19.95, my report came back with no history. I was thinking that all that came off my background and applied for my license.
Well I was wrong, those and other things came up and now not able to get my license without clearing all this up because I was not forthcoming with this info. If I had known that these things would be there I would have put them in my history info.
When I called the company for a refund, I was told that I wasn't considered a criminal therefore none of that showed up. He said he would refund the extra $19.95 that I was charged but couldn't help with the other charges.
The only way to get actual history is getting electronic fingerprints done and asking for a FBI criminal history report.
