Intergrated Merchant Alliance Intergrated Merchant Alliance First Federal referred our business to a credit card middleman ! Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina

A while ago, we changed our business checking acount to First Federal. At the time the bank representative referred us to the credit card company they were using, a local company Intergrated Merchant Alliance. So, on the word of the bank we started using them. We had some problems with our statement and tried to call the sales person did not return our call. So, we called the 800 customer service number. What we found out was very interesting. We were calling some place out of the country, you could tell by the accent of the person, I think it may have been India and calling another company First Data Services.   So the so called "local company" Intergrated Merchant Alliance that First Federal recommended wasn't local at all and in fact not even in the USA. Turns out Intergrated Merchant Alliance is just a middleman that is a reseller of credit card services from First Data.   So, First Federal is making money on me, Intergrated Merchant Alliance is making money on me and First Data is making money on me. I really think this whole situation stinks. I have contacted our old company and are in the process of changing back to a company that was not dishonest. Chris M.
