I received a letter in the mail, the date of the letter is August 23, 2013. I called the 877-405-1900 and spoke with someone. I wanted to discuss the amount owed, but when I went to explain my case to him, he spoke over me and told me that I had 2 options, pay the money or go to court.

He asked me if I had a cancellation document, I told him yes, he then told me to fax it to him. Once he gave me the fax number he said I was an idiot, that I wasn't telling him the whole story and that I was a liar.

I explained to him that I know the previous owner of the gym and that I had the required document that he gave me and he called me a liar for a second time and hung up the phone.

This company tries to intimidate people with big words, which he didn't use a few of them properly, and refuses to work with anyone to come to an agreement and get the matter settled. They have an "it's my way or the highway," type of attitude.

I'm a web developer and I will post this same comment on every website that I can to let people know that this company has no respect for anyone that calls.

record calls and file a complaint against them

AUTHOR: tom - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 27, 2014

First off I am not an attorney.  I would suggest that you start recording the calls.  making threats and cuts on your behavior is

totally on called for.  I also suggest that you file a complaint with your state attorney general consumer protection division.  Do this against the gym and the collector.  Forget the BBB.  They are worthless.

Recording the calls gives you ammo.  Provide that to the A.G office.

If they threaten or any other nonsense. You have them by the tail. You have to get the evidence. The recording equipment is available for dirt cheap.  You need to research this.

I believe that they are nasty enough to file suit against you.  Do not be scared by this.  Go online and file a complaint with the A.G. office.

Fight them.  Do not admit guilt or give them banking information.

I wish you the best.

Same rude phone caller, different day.

AUTHOR: Cosmosphy - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 16, 2014

I was shocked and in disbelief when I received a call from the rude representative of this company.

I received the call at 730am local time, the caller asked my name, to which I responded (excited, hoping it was a job offer). The man on the line was gruff, stating that I owed a certain amount for previous gym dues. I explained to him that I'm currently broke and unemployed, to which he interjecteded 'you don't know what I'm talking about; see you in court'. And then hung up on me.

I immediately went into panic mode, partially from having morning hypoglycemia, but mostly from the fear and anger of being threatened with the law by a gentleman whos name or company I had never heard of until this morning. I did what any panicky person might fo and called back.

The same person answered. I asked for his name, and he immediately blew up on the phone and demanded of me if I was a lawyer. I told him no, and let him know that he was the most rude person I've ever encountered on the phone. I tried a second time to ask his name, to which he responded with a loud and arrogant outburst about how I can't do anything, and that he would see me in court. He then hung up the phone on me a second time.

What should I do? I want to pay the bill, but I was met with such fierce and butt-headed opposition on the phone that I don't EVER want to talk to that rude man again. After the second phone call, I felt sick to my stomach and began violently shaking; probably the most stressful interaction I've ever had with a human. How can any person inside of a running business treat people like this??
