IPA telephone solicatation was the first of many lies. I asked both callers if this was a solicitation call and they responded no. The salesmen that came in was late and when I called him back the next morning to cancel the appointment made the previous day, he showed up anyway.

The "free" analysis lasted two full days, not the 1.5 to 2 hours. It wasted two full days and my time from my business that I could not afford. The analyist did not address the problems I was having with my business only the "canned" garbage he was trained to do. I got no value from his information and was very confused.
The promise of "experts" coming in and solving my problems was what enticed me to sign his contract (which I did not receive a copy of).

When they did show up I wanted to know what this was costing and the Project Manager assured me that I would know that by the end of the day. We then spent the rest of the day going over the same information given to the analyist. One good thing about this day was that I was able to make sales calls (that I would have started a full week before) at the "recommendation" of the PM. At the end of the day I was not informed as to what this was costing me.

The next day we continued our "education" on Profit and Loss, accural accounting, etc. At 2:30 pm I finally got the amount that this was costing $9,600 I had already spent for the two days and $16,000 to the end of the week. My CFO (also my wife) left the building in tears.
I told them at that point that this was the last day for them.

Before they left I gave them three checks, one with the current date and the others post dated. The next morning (today) I did a Google on IPA and read the Ripoff Reports. I canceled payment on the checks and will file complaints as recommended. Please do not do business with these people.

International Profit Associates backed down!!

AUTHOR: Glen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 12, 2007

After reporting IPA on this website, I took the advice that was offered and I am so glad I did. I reported IPA to both State Attorney Generals,(OK and IL), I obtained an attorney, filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, and contacted the local newspaper. During the time I was doing this I received an invoice with a letter demanding at least 1/2 of what they originally wanted to charge me. I did not respond but sent the inforamtion to my Attorney. I wrote IPA a letter and explained what I had done and told them that ANY calls or coorespondence was to be directed to my Attorney. Ifurther stated that my Attorney would onlt talk with their Illinois licensed Attorney. Three days after this letter was sent I received a call from their "legal department". I told the lady I would not speak to her and asked if IPA had received the letter. She said yes but did not haveit in front of her. She was rude and very insulting. I told her to have her Attorney call my Attorney (the contact information was included in my letter) and I hung up. She called back 10 minutes later and demanded my Attorney's name and number. I hung up on her again. That's the last time I heard from IPA. Last week I received a letter from the Illinios Attorney General's office with IPA's response letter. After IPA spent two paragraphs explaining what an excellent job they did for us, they "decided to write off these monies" because "it is not worth our time and effort to pursue these funds..."!!! I think the key here is that they have the RICO lawsuit taking all the lawyers time. If you have been ripped off by this company then I would strongly erge you to follow the advice in these reports.
