International Satellite Communication Overcharging on pay phone at airport. Non-existant 4 min call. Tucson Arizona Internet

I was flying out of Tucson airport on 6/21/09 and after entering terminal discovered I left my cell phone at my daughters' home. I figured I would call her and get her to bring it to me before the flight. I didn't know the number so went to a pay phone ,which said 75cents per call and had a credit card slot. I slid my card and and got a "garbaled" voice I couldnot understand. I did not hang up as I already slid my card, so waited till a "live" operator came on, she then took my credit card info again and asked what I wanted. I stated information and told her name and city.

She said there was no listing for that name and had one of a different first name. I figured it was my daughters' inlaws and could call them. so I agreed to get the number. She then clicked to an auto recording for the number which was "garbaled" again....frustrated I hung up.

I asked a cop to use his cell and called my own number which someone picked up and I got my phone in time.

Yesterday (6/30/09) I was checking my bank statement and I was charged 12.54 for that call!! I called the number on the transaction and got a young lady who spoke bad english & after I insisted on talking to a supervisor about a refund she wouldn't give me, put me on hold for several minutes. Finially she came back and offered 5.00 refund only. I said I wanted the whole thing as I never talked at all to anyone except the operator. She said there was a four minute call made & I was charged for that. I wanted the companys' address, and name but she would not give me the address if I wanted any refund at all...either, or only.

I want all my money back and pay phones to work properly and truth in advertising on the front of the phone in big print. I maybe should be charged the 75cents for the 411 call only. I feel I was ripped off and I worry that they have my credit card info now. I will believe it when I see the 5 dollars in 2-3 weeks!
