My name is Candice and I am 18 years old
I wrote two poems and sent them in to these poetry contests just out of fun I never thought I was that good
Anyway about a week later I received a letter telling me I was a nominee for poet of the year
They said that they wanted to publish my poem in "sounds of poetry" so I signed it and I also sent them a letter asking them for info about what I would be paid for this
They never got back to me and they are making money off my 2 poems "Love" and "Even" but they never got back to me
The man's name whom I wrote the letter to was Howard Ely but I received a letter in 2001, 2002, and 2003 there was another man named Steve Michaels
I received an email from these people as a matter of fact I can send it to you

I have been published by them,invited to the contest, and asked to buy the books as well. I never expected to receive any compensation because they never claimed to pay anything. They are very upfront and honest about this. They ask your permission to be included in the volumes and never offer to pay you any money. This organization is very phony, however I dont like to see people bad mouthed by consumers when they didnt actually rip you off.

Don't let it bother you. This is a scam. The only people they sell their books to are the people whoose poetry they "publish". They are not going to give you money, they are going to try and sell you something. Also, they may invite you to Florida to be honored. Ignore this as well.
