Internet Advancement, 4greatbuys.com rip-off! Dishonest! Broken promise! Unethical! Redmond Washington

I signed on with Internet Advancement because I wanted to improve the rankings for my website, xguitars.com, for two key phrases: "classical guitar" and "flamenco guitar". About 6 months went by with absolutely NO success. My site didn't even rank in the top 1000 for those keywords.

They said that if only I would sign up for two subpages and spend a bunch more money, my rankings would improve. I was dubious, so I would not agree to the subpages until their representative stated in an email that if I did not achieve top 20 ranking for those keywords, I would get my money back. 4-5 months later again, my ranking for the desired keywords was still nonexistant.

I requested the refund that I was promised and they refused to grant it. They said the written guarantee doesn't cover this. I explained to a manager there what had happened and he said that he cannot be responsible for the actions of their sales reps!! They refused to issue any refund.

Throughout the process, I would complain and ask why I wasn't ranked and they would always avoid the topic. Once, they sent me a report showing how many times the phrase "classical guitar" appeared in my site and said "Look how many times the Google bots find this phrase in your site". This was not a Google report at all. He was simply trying to send me some numbers that were completely irrelevant just to satisfy me.

In summary, this company is by far the most unethical that I have ever dealt with. AVOID them at all costs!!
