Looking on the net today, 7/6/08 I see that I am not alone in this SCAM by Internet Speedway. At the very least these gangsters are guilty of false advertising and intentionally concealing an escape clause in small print to financially entrap their victims. No receipt was included nor has one ever been forwarded. Further, they have a "Guarantee Expiration" date on their pretentious "Official Account Activation License" that I never activated, This means that they have taken great sums of my money after 10/06/05, the very date of expiration. This is tantamount to a crime. These people need a slap by the Attorney General along with a victim's class action that drains their net worth sending them on a long vacation to the Hotel Graybar.

An Accurate Accounting of My Experience--

During the last week of August of '05 I responded to a radio advertisement on KSFO AM for free information on a new Internet business. When I stated that I was responding to this ad they stated that the information was free but there was a small shipping and handling fee of $15.99. Being not a lot of money I gave them the Chase credit card info to comply.

After about a week a small box arrived with a VHS tape, a short booklet and 3 other papers. It became very apparent from the get go that this was B. S. with a bunch of goods that only the uninformed would buy. And, I sure wasn't going to sign up for any further abuse before their expiration date. The 16 bucks they nailed me for was quite enough.

Or, so I thought. When my Chase bill arrived I had a charge dated 10/07/05 in the amount of $59.99. I called Chase and told this that this was a bogus charge and that is was supposed to be only $15.99. The long information trail started and then the next billing cycle arrived with yet another $59.99 charge dated 11/10/05. Now I had a problem.

Long story-short, I went back to Chase telling them I have nothing but a small box of propaganda that is absolutely worthless. Chase filed a dispute posting on 12/14/05 and told me I needed to go to these gangsters and work it out. A live voice named John at Speedway told me that I needed to return their "product" by a certain date and that I hadnt, so too bad; that they had my transaction recorded when I ordered this information agreeing to this "fleecing". He told me that I could hear this recording at a cost of $9.95 and to call 888-877-3336 in 5-7 business days. When I called back they couldn't produce this recording. Well, gee whiz, I wonder why?

Nothing has changed. Here it is July of '08 and they still advertise on the radio and it looks like the sheep are still being led to slaughter. I am now looking at this box of propaganda and, not just 2, but 5 charges of $59.99 ending on 2/10/06 for a grand total rip off $299.95. Chase was of no help either.
