On April 7, 2015 I ordered a replacement battery and installation from them for my iPod Touch. Upon receiving the shipping container, I sent the iPod to them, which they serviced and sent back.

After I got the iPod back, it would not stay powered up. I contacted them, and received an RMA number. I mailed (at my expense) the iPod back on May 6, indicating in detail the symptoms and that the device would not stayed powered up.

They returned the device to me on May 22, with no explanation and exactly the same symptoms. This was a working iPod when I first mailed it to them, and in daily use. Now, it is useless.

I am requested a full refund of $50.99. They did not reply as of June 30.

I also contacted the BBB in Irvine, and let them know of their quality of service, and their lack of customer service. The Irvine BBB sent several inquiries to iPod Battery Depot and received no reply.

Use this company at your own risk. A better solution is to use the Apple service center, or a local company that you can trust.
