Had a pretty pathetic experience working with these guys (It's Just Lunch). Very unprofessional, didn't listen to what I wanted (and then pretended I said something else yet failed to substantiate that), set me up with someone who was 100% opposite of what I wanted on every single criteria, every single phone call was a few hours late, etc. To top it all off - none of the information applicants provide is actually verified - despite the company asking for a drivers' license at the personal interview. For example, the first date I had was with a self-described 5'10" man. He was about 5'4". I'm 5'3" with a 2 inch heel on and he was shorter... All of the other criteria I had didn't match him at all either. I asked for someone with a "stable, local career" and got a traveling Berklee student on a student visa and living out of a suitcase more often than not... AND moving to Nashville within a few months!

At the "personal interview" after many phone conversation and my one terrible date, was told that what i'm looking for doesn't exist within the local database and asked not to throw the person under the bus. Had no choice after that to conclude that they don't indeed have what I'm looking for - unfortunately, the many customer service reps I've spoken to have all tried to reassure me that I gave them a different set of criteria and then changed my mind". In fact, what happened is I said that "after we exhaust this particular pool, I'm willing to expand search criteria" (I am attracted to a specific race - can't help it!) - so they just expanded it without my knowledge or approval and without telling me that they don't have anyone for me to date within my specified criteria. Instead, they "took into account my change in preferences" - what change?! - and offered to put my account on hold since there is nobody for me to date. I was also told I should consider other options outside of my comfort zone, that I don't know how to have fun (I'm a professional event planner :-) ), and at some point it was suggested that I should give them a call if I'm every traveling to NYC because there are lots of men for me there (vs. Boston...). Seriously?!

And now I'm getting a runaround while trying to get at least some $ back.

Lots of over-promising and under-delivering. Wish I had given more weight to the terrible reviews online and less to one friend's decent experience with them.
