I recieved a letter in the mail stating that i had won a consumers lottery and that I will be recieving a total of $39,000. They sent me an "official check" in the mail for $3,950.00, saying that I was selected from a random pool of 98,000 people. On the letter they provided me with a phone number to call and to aske for a Michelle Goodson or Ricardo Carrol. So I called since I was very suspicious and asked if it was a scam. I spoke with Michelle and she said no. I just need to deposit that check and call them on Monday so that I could recieve the rest of my winnings via UPS. I have no idea how they got my name or my address. If this happens to you be very skeptical and research the company and the bank that is on the check.
