THESE CHEAP LITTLE WANNABE MERCHANTS --SOULESS, NOT ACCOUNTABLE TO ANYBODY WHO WANT TO SCREW EVERYBODY OVER --THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT MERCHANTS. THEY SELL TRASH AT OVER INFLATED PRICES GOUGING EVERYBODY AND CHEAT THEIR EMPLOYEES OUT OF THEIR PAY.

MANY OF THEM ARE POSTED BUT THERE ARE QUITE A FEW MORE I COULD LIST.

Over the years Jcrew has compromised its quality for profit.Long time employees have watched the quality become less and less.Management has only one goal,ship out as much in a day as possible.They set production so impossibly high the workers cannot properly check to make sure the correct product is being sent to the customers,if they don't make production they lose their jobs.Many employees have complained about numerous problems,unfair production standards,disrespectful supervisors, harrasment, favoritism, safety issues,the list goes on.The open door policy(one can talk to anyone in HR or management they feel comfortable speaking with)is one big lie.When you bring problems to their attention you become viewed as a trouble maker,or a non team player in their words.The end result since Va.is a right to work state is they pick on the employee and eventually find a way to fire them.Just in the last 3 weeks,2 longtime employees,15 to 19 years have been let go simply because one had the misfortune of not being liked by a 30 something attractive female in a management position who had been with the company for about 3 years.The other was a 50something lady who simply was not one of the good ole boys.She had been in a management position for years and was reduced to a supervisor only to be replaced then fired by a 30 something man.While still employeed with Jcrew employees are forced to sign agreements not to bring negative attention to the company or if they do it is grounds for termination.I'm sure Jcrew is not the only company who treats its customers and employees this way and that is very sad.My best to the ones who gave years of their lives to this company only to be treated and thrown away like yesterdays trash.May Jcrew reap the rewards that they sow!

NOBODY IN MY FAMILY SHOPS AT J CREW FOR THE SAME REASON THAT WE DO NOT SHOP AT BANANA REPUBLIC AND ANY OF THESE TRENDY LITTLE SHOPPES IN THE MALL THAT CATER TO MINDLESS TEENERS AND TWEENERS AND YUPPIES.

WE WANT VALUE FOR THE MONEY AND REASONABLE SIZES FOR REAL WOMEN AND NOT ANOREXIC TEENY BOPPERS.

AND J CREW DOES NOT DELIVER ON EITHER OF THE ABOVE CRITERIA,

I WONDER IF THEY WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THIS ECONOMIC SHAKE DOWN.
