Once I was able to get back on my feet financially, I started to connect w/the creditors I owed money to. I called this "firm" and gave them my information. During the call, they used many intimadations to get me to give them more money than I know they paid out when they bought my debt from the original creditor.

They told me to borrow money from my family. I don't have anyone to borrow from, but they assured me that I did. They did not want to talk to me about what I could do to repay. I offered to pay them on a monthly basis and they told me they could not do it.

There was something very "off" about the entire call, and as I processed what was said, how it was said, my radar kicked up even more. The whole call was more like a debt collector than a law firm. I went onto the internet to search this "firm" and immediately saw that this is a company preying on people that are trying to make good on their debts.

How do people like this sleep at night? I guess they will get their in the very end.
