James Needles, Illinois Attorney Responsibility and Disciplinary Committee Attorney disappointed in attorneys' professional watchdog group Chicago Illinois

I am an attorney. My family became the victims of false accusations made to the Cook County Department of Children and Family Services and DCFS's overzealous agents. The attorney who represented my wife was aggressive, uncooperative, unprofessional, and adversarial throughout our ordeal despite the fact that we were on the same side of our case. I filed a complaint with the Illinois ARDC. My complaint was thorough and thoughtful, and supported by extensive evidence and documentation. After conducting no investigation whatsoever, James Needles, the ARDC's Senior Counsel,dismissed my complaint with a brief and conclusory letter that could not have taken him more than 20 minutes to write. I am ashamed that my profession is overseen in such a superficial manner.
