Jared Shafer uses seniors for black market medical experiments.
Recently I resigned from the employment of Jared E Shafer, who was Clark Countys former public guardian from 1979 through 2002.   Unfortunately the reports about my past activities continue to fill the Internet.  I want these reports to stop because Ive changed my life and found Jesus Christ as my personal savior. God has gently told me to make a confession about my former employer and the horrible things he has done to his wards.  
Several days ago I read a report from someone claiming their parent was used in a black market medical experiment.  This report is true.  Jared has used over 200 unsuspecting elders in questionable medical experiments without the permission of the families or the senior involved.
  The experiments took place over a period of years.  Some of the tests involved drugs, which were not approved for use in the United States, others consisted of inducing psychological stress, many involved implanting untested and unapproved medical devices, and finally there were a series of behavioral experiments, which studied the decrease in self-esteem caused by isolation from family and friends. The seniors were told by me their children or relatives no longer cared for them.  I was asked to note the seniors reaction and keep a diary of what I observed as the elders first response. I was paid money for this activity.  Others would study day-to-day activities of the senior after the devastating news had been given to them. Jared Shafer said it was very important to keep families away from their loved ones because he didnt want them to discover what was happening to the family member.   Jared Shafer kept families away from the senior  by accusing them of being criminals, non-residents of Nevada, or psychologically unfit to care for their relatives based on a small point from a background check. Jared Shafer said if you dig deep enough, you will always find something to keep problem family members in check. Shafer said the Nevada family court will back us 100% of the time. We told many families it was best to stay away from their parent or loved one.  
Jared Shafer benefited from these activities through large payments paid to him by unethical companies who wanted to shortcut the normal trial process for their product or service. I witnessed one company saying to Mr. Shafer these underground medical experiments would assist them in fine-tuning future FDA tests when they received the appropriate agency approval.   I personally witnessed payments ranging from $20,000 up to $150,000 made to Jared Shafer for each ward he delivered to them for experimentation.   The payments were made for the right and availability of humans to conduct these black market medical experiments.  
Jared Shafer turned a blind eye to the suffering of his wards.  When Jared Shafer observed the fact one man could no longer sit up after a device had been inserted into his back, he remarked by saying it is for the good of medical science.  Another lady lost her appetite after an operation.  Shafer said she was too fat anyway. 
Ive been paid very well for my work with Jared Shafer.  Unfortunately much of it was spent on living well.  I will find some way of helping the families who have had to undergo the harm and stress placed upon them by Jared Shafer.  A lot of this emotional stress came from the simple fact the relatives didnt know what type of care was being given to their family member.  Yet they strongly suspected something was wrong, but they couldnt put a finger on what was happening.   Perhaps these families couldnt put into words what they felt was going on. Someone performing black market medical experiments on vulnerable seniors is supposed to be unimaginable in the United States.  Shafer hid behind the practice of knowing that the human mind will deny what it believes is not possible. I know this flaw in human consciousness is the reason why Shafer has continued this practice for three decades.     Closure is very important for the mental health of these poor families.  I know so many families who have been traumatized to a point of no return.  One man who had his mother taken from him, now  suffers from serious post traumatic stress disorder.  This man relives the tragic events of what happened to his mother during her final month on earth as many as five times in a single day. He once said I could have stopped Shafer if I just  took mom away from Nevada.  I hope this poor man will recover and all I can do is to pray for him and ask God for forgiveness for the harm I have caused. 
God please forgive me for what Ive done.  As a Christian I must ask god to forgive Jared Shafer, Jon Norheim, Judge Hoskin, Sundance Medical, and all of the others who like me took the easy way out by helping Jared Shafer perform his cruelty for profit scam.  I ask the Lord to   help my young son,  ex husband, and my beloved mother to forgive me for what Ive done.
