I ordered an educational course on a payment plan which involved 3 payments of $399.00 and it was delivered on Sept 28, 2009. The first payment was on Sept 28, the second on Oct 26, and the third has just been initiated today, Nov 23.

Jason Loucks (Home Financing Options) says in a info document he sent me before I ordered as well as on the Order Form that I signed that one has a FULL 30 DAYS to review the material and take their time and look it over before deciding to get a refund. I can provide this entire document or a scanned image of the page this statement is on as well as a copy of the Order Form showing the stated "FULL 30 DAYS" to review, etc.

On Oct 23, I called 561-623-8930 (Customer Service) to return the course. I got voicemail stating their hours were Tues thru Thurs. I called and got voicemail a couple of times before finally leaving a detailed message on Oct 28 stating that I needed instructions for returning the package.

On Oct 30, Laura Loucks called from 561-762-2311 and left a message stating that she would like to speak with me about my return request. She asked that I call her back. I got her message a few minutes later, called her back, and left a detailed message.

Since then, I was out of town for 8 days. But, I called Laura again on Nov 3, Nov 17, and today and left detailed messages. I spoke to Kate, the Account Manager, on Nov 4 and told her I had not heard from Laura and to have Laura give me a call. She said I had to speak with Laura to return the course. I sent an email message to Kate [Service@HomeFinancingOptions.com] on Nov 19 and again today asking what is going on.

I finally heard from Kate on Nov 23 after I left a message saying that I was going to take action.  Earlier that day before I got her message, I had filed a complaint with the BBB.

When Kate called that day and left a message, she said that Laura had told her I didn't qualify for the 30 day return policy.

I would still like to return the course and be refunded for the 3 payments of $399.00.  Based on their stated in writing 30 FULL DAYS policy to review/look over the material, I did qualify and I should have been able to take advantage of the "no-questions-asked" refund policy.
