Li paid Mr. Barnette to handle my credit debt because of a collection agency was constantly calling me and I got served with court papers. That's when Imlooked online fir help to have an attorney to help me come to a resolution, impaypaled him 500.00 for him to get it settled within a week or so and it dragged out over a year. My attorney just kept pushin my court dates and restring them to the point where he made me miss a court date because he never told me, he even admitted he dropped the ball and would fix it. Well he never did. He basically just stopped contact with me. This is when I reached out to the Board of Professional Resposobility . They agreed after I had word for word copied and sent to them to take the case along with 4 other people that he was not loyal to.

The board took this to thevSuoreme Court of Tn where they found him gui,ty of negligence and disciplined him 3 years 1 year of not practicing law, the other 2 on probation. After that sentence was given to this lawyer I got a letter from my job where they garnished my wages 25% which is a lot all because of His incompetence . The board decided that he showed no malice toward me and didn't cause hardship so the lawyers fund would not pay me back the 500.00 but the courts Oder is to have him pay all the people the k ey he basically took from us. In my case 500.00. I'm just upset my company is taking 25% of my check, How am I suppose to live on that . The BOPR did help in this case but could care less of my hardship, I feel the SCOTN should of disbarred this lawyer from what I read and what he has done to others ,not just me, just google his name, He live in WV. , but practices in Tn.

I was very dissapointed in the SCOTN decision and feel they should of done better. I have a copy of the court records or you could just google it. Nits in Nashville Tn a Supreme Court of TN. I then called mr Barnette to see if he would PayPal my 500.00 the way I paid him and he said he would or send money order that was last dec,His 1 yr ends on Oct 12 this yr and that's when he has to pay me or not be able to practice. Again this lawyer used threatning words to the point that I called my parents/ friend/ and Mr. Johnson at Board of Professional Resposobility that how scared I was, he is Very brass, intimating and I feel this is not the Creed of a lawyer that he had to take before he came one. Am I still afraid yes'm but I'm not getting bullied by this person P
