On the 9th of May I put in a request to receive auto shipping quotes online. I received this e-mail from Auto Transport Today which gave me a quote that they could shipped my vehicle for $995.00 from WA to Va. I gave them a call and I spoke to a sale rep named Clint I explained to him that I am in the military and that I needed to have my vehicle shipped to Va and have it arrive by the time I get there. He explain to me the way the shipping works and it said usally take between 7-10 days from the pickup date but no longer than 14days assuming that the driver doesn't have a break down. I was reluctant to use this company and I should have followed my first mind. But I decided, to give them a chance. I started the paperwork but I didn't complete it. 2 days later I received a call from Clint, saying that he had received my shipping request and that I needed to make payment arrangement in order to get things going. I called and explain to him again what I needed done. I also said that I wasn't going to make a payment online so I paid him a 250.00 deposit over the phone. Later that day I recieved a call from Ron of Jayhawk auto transport saying that they couldnt ship my vehicle for the price quoted and that I need to pay a $100 more. I said ok if this will help you get it there on time I will pay the money. I asked Ron how long would it take to get my vehicle to Va. And once again I was told between 7-10days from the day the that the truck is loaded. My truck was loaded on the 29 May 08 today is the 23 of June 08 I have yet to receive my vehicle. I call Jayhawk and asked them what was the status. They told me that I need to call the Company that they hired and get the status myself from them. I called the Company named (Mariupol Auto Transport) 23 days in a row. I got an answer once, she was the secretary and could not tell me anything about the whereabouts of my vehicle. I call Jayhawk and explain this to them, they told me "what do you want us to do about it", we can't get in touch with them either. And the best thing for me to do is not to call them because they are busy and doing the best they can.I called the Wa state Police department and had them go to the Mariupol to try to find out if my vehicle was still there and sure enough it was still there, and had never left the state. Again I called Jayhawk and explained to them what the officer told me. They told me that the Mariupol was going through some problem and that hopefully I would get my truck soon. The officer said that he spoke with the secretary and said that my truck would shipped out that night. I called Jayhawk on the 23th June to see if they had a status. And once again I was told that I needed to call the Company or call the officer to find out a status. I have never paid for a somthing and been treated so badly by a Business that suppose to be offering a service. So now I have hired a lawyer... to be continue...
