JB Hunt Transport ripoff Deceptive practices Lowell Arkansas

It has come to my attention that there is a discrepancy in what JB Hunt Transport states as the average miles. In there publications as to the average miles, as an example, they use the amount of approximately 2,400 miles per week. However, when a driver calls the "Harper Hot Line", the gentleman is now stating that the driver will be doing an average of 2,190 miles per week.

Now, which is to be believed? The spoken word or the printed word? It would be nice to at least have the "powers that be", be on the same page.

Also, the "safety miles" are an issue, as to the accruement for the "Million Mile". Most drivers are under the impression that if they have a preventable accident, that they will loose the miles they have accrued for one year. Not the case, drivers. If you happen to have the misfortune to have a preventable accident, as defined by J B Hunt, Transport, you do not lose one year of miles, but three years. When this policy was implemented is not known, for there is no reference found in any publication printed for the employees, that I have been able to access.


It appears that the upper echelon is scatological in their inclinations.

When will they be forthright with the drivers? Is it that maybe if they were, there would be drivers that would choose not to work for JB Hunt.
