John Cannon Homes is billed as being among the best Sarasota home builders. But beware the red flag: Hidden deep within their contract, embedded in the fine print is everything you need to know. John Cannon Homes cannot be held liable for emotional distress We missed it altogether. Dont subject yourself to the nightmare and become victim like us - stay as far away from this builder as you can.

John Cannon Homes is very good putting up gingerbread houses, but when it comes to building a strong, honest, structurally sound home, you might as well forget it. To make matters worse theyll kill you with change orders, charging you an arm and a leg for the smallest upgrade imaginable, many of which come as a total shock as youd never think theyre not included. Not only is John Cannon Homes very dishonest, the quality of the homes are low grade. Go elsewhere. Do not build with this builder. Its not worth the nightmare. I would not recommend them to anyone. I have nothing positive to say. They payoff neighborhood news outlets and hire local PR firms to post good reviews about their company on internet but this is my true experience with John Cannon Homes.

Job quality - BAD..very BAD! Management and ownership attitude indifferent, belittling and arrogant! Poor craftsmanship - unable or unwilling to acknowledge, address and corrected problems! Like their gingerbread homes their reputation for being a premier custom home builder is all based on lies, deceit and fabrication. They cant even nail a roof down properly.

You expect better in a million dollar home, but you don't get it from John Cannon Homes!

Go elsewhere and find another builder.
