Juniper bank charged my account an $39.00 late fee for my august,2006 payment.i mailed my payment on aug.15thand they claim they did not receive it untill aug.21st, this seems to be a routine business practice by them for there are numerous complaints on the internet whom juniper bank has applied the same business practice to.in addition my interest rate was 5.99% and juniper bank raised it to 17.12% with out giving me notice.would there be any attorney interested in fileing an class action suit against juniper bank for these shady business practices? this companies shady business practices must be stopped!

POSTED: Tuesday, January 30, 2007

To date i have expearienced no additinal problems from Juniper Bank. Then again i have not had to contact their customer service department again either. I am of hope that their acquisition by Barclay Bank will mark an drastic and much needed improvement for their customer service department, for Barcly Bank is an very good banhk from my past erpearience with them in other business matters.

Buyer Beware!

I had a Juniper Credit card, and used the credit to wisely build up my credit score. 650 up from 535. (By the way they are now Barlay's Bank) I had an on line account to track all my purchases (get one even if you have to borrow a computer) and more importantly all my payments. Always print out the confimation number so you have it, so they can never say "The mail must have been slow". ALL credit card companies will try to steal from you, regardless of who you are, that's how they make the profit.

When I closed my account (they raised the interest rates from very low to 20%) my balance was zero. (even on line) I took a screen shot of this just to be sure. Sure enough, they sent me a bill for "interest". I told them I would send them a screen shot of a zero balance account. They reversed the charge. Trust no one folks, and always make your own proof!

juniper bank dispute satisfied by clinton walker counsel for bank

AUTHOR: Dwight - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 29, 2006

clinton walker counsel for juniper bank and his associate dan apostolico get an thumbs up for handleing my complaints in an very professional manner. not only did they credit back the $38.00 late fee but also as well restored my interest rate back from 17.12% to the original rate of 5.99%. i discussed in detail my concerns with dan pertaining to juniper banks customer service departments like of professionalism and their policy which is written evidently in stone of no refunds pertaining to late fees regardless of the situation.as well i discussed my concerns over juniper banks increasing interest rates without any apparent reason.

dan assured me that my concerns would be noted and conveyed to the appropriate bank officials for consideration. please note that the resolution to all of my issues were handled by dan in less than 10 minutes. if only customer service at juniper could have or been authorized to act accordingly as dan did all of this could have been avoided.i highly suggest to other juniper bank customers whom have had an likewise experience as i did with juniper banks service department to contact directly clinton walker counsel for juniper bank at (302)255-8700 or his extremely efficient assistant dan aspostolico at (302)255-8500. i give their office 5 stars for knowing how to treat an customer.
