Ben A. - Karplus Warehouse sell lemons & blames buyer for problems, North Hills California

In October of 2006, my mother and I purchased a 2004 Landrover, Freelander at Karplus Warehouse located in North Hills, Ca. After one month I experienced a number of problems with the vehicle. It first started with engine problems (over heating) and then electrical (windows and door locks) and interior/ exterior work (handles and accessories). After two months with numerous calls and visits to Karplus Warehouse the General Manager told me to bring in the car for a diagnostic evaluation not to mention a rent a car bill that was invoiced to my mother in which Karplus promised to pay. Karplus mechanics only fixed 10% of work that needed to be done. I took the car in for appraisal and was given a detailed report on its condition. The report states that there are signs of fluid leaks, unusual noises and vibrations, inoperative odometers, odometers that have been tampered with. The vehicle sensors indicate that there is much needed work on engine repairs. The General Manager of Karplus Warehouse has even accused me of damaging the rear end of the vehicle after I purchased it. I am appalled by these accusations and want Karplus Warehouse to take full responisbility of all repairs.
